Abalone poachers nabbed
The first questions that comes to mind is – how did it get there and where was it going?
Those are the questions on the news this morning on Maroela Media that abalone to the value of R1,3 nilliion was found in Cookhouse in the Eastern Cape after alert officers on a routine patrol spotted a car driving at a high speed. A support vehicle was summoned and the suspects werew arrested 20 km further.
Fourteen bags with 7 615 shucked abalone were found in their possession and two men were arrested.
